I'm glad
you made it and hope you'll find what you need here. This site is designed
to provide students with access to some materials that I think might be
helpful, but I need to be clear about a few things:
- Lecture outlines are just that - provided by the
publisher and meant to be used as note taking guides - they aren't "the
notes" and using them as a substitute for taking
notes in class and/or reading the text will get you in trouble.
- Study guides are meant to be helpful but you have
to answer the questions (and answer them correctly) in plenty of time
to actually learn the material for the exam. I'd suggest you start outlining
the text and finding answers to study guide questions now.
- Practice exams are just that, not actual exams
or a synopsis of what you need to know for the test. Don't use them
to study by.
- Anything I may have up for lab is ancillary, not
a substitute for going to lab and doing the lab exercises. The same
is true for what you might find on other web sites. Use the materials,
go to open lab, but most of all use your regularly scheduled lab time
learn the material we present there.
Feel free to use anything you find but it wouldn't
hurt to visit some of the other faculty web sites (go to the MTC Science
Department web page and click the "Faculty
Web Pages" link) and you'll see what I mean. |
