Bibliography Guide

Your bibliography should include all the sources used in preparing a speech, including Internet documents, personal interviews, television programs, and CD-ROM publications, as well as print materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, etc. I would prefer that you use the Modern Language Association (MLA) style format for your bibliographies. Entries should be alphabetized based on the first available piece of information about your source (usually the author’s last name). Sample entries for different kinds of publications are provided below.

KEEP IN MIND: A bibliography should be alphabetized according to the first known piece of information about the source (usually the author’s last name). Also remember that the second line of each entry should be indented. DO NOT include the bold-faced titles provided in these examples.
